How do I notify members of a new poll or remind them to respond?

As a group administrator, you can notify or remind members of a poll by sending a poll notification. Poll notifications are posted to your Discussion(s).
 

To send a poll notification:
 

  • Go to [your group] > Utilities > Polls.
  • Click on the title of the poll, then click "Remind."
  • From here, choose the Discussion(s) in which you want your notification to be posted. Then, if you wish, edit the subject and/or the body of the message and click "Send Notification."


The topic will be posted to the Discussion(s) you've indicated and will be received by members according to their Discussion notification settings. Just as with your standard forum messages, members will be able to comment on the poll notification topic if they wish.
